canoeBrighton offers a wide range of sports facilities and activities for both young and old.

If you like organized sports Brighton and the area offers many clubs and organizations ranging from tennis, softball, soccer, lawn bowling, golf, ice skating and hockey.

The area also offers plenty of opportunities to engage in unorganised activities such as canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, cycling, hiking etc.

Brighton and District Curling Club:
Located at King Edward Park in Brighton.
Hosts regular league and special event bonspiels during the winter.

Arranges softball games for girls and boys between the ages of five to 18 years.

Brighton and District Figure Skating Club Qualified professionals teach the basics of ice skating and the fundamentals of figure skating
in a group environment. Ages 3 and up.
Season runs from Oct. until Mar.

Brighton Lawn Bowling and Croquet Club
Membership to OLBA automatic when paying dues
Located in the centre of Town behind Memorial Park on Main Street. The Club operates from Mid May to End September and offers instruction to anyone for both Lawn Bowling and Croquet in a friendly fun filled atmosphere. 
Coaching bowls are available for a small fee while learning the skills of Lawn Bowling. A gentle way to get exercise that can lead to some competition as well. Membership is open to all from age 10 years and up. For more information contact:

Brighton & District Carpet Bowling Club
Come out and get some gentle exercise, and have fun while carpet bowling. We bowl Monday & Thursday afternoons at The Lions Hall during the winter months. Tea, Coffee and cookies are served between games. New members are welcome.

Presqu'ile Walking Club
Hikes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Walkers of all ages are invited to join the 50 or so existing members who meet at the Presqu'ile Park camp office in colder months and the lighthouse in warmer months.
Walkers set their own pace and walk from one to five miles.
