Recreation and Leisure:
Through our Municipal Administration, residents and visitors will find various activities and classes for all age groups.

Many of the programs run year round, while others are seasonal or special interest in nature. Classes and programs are scheduled seasonally. Self guided activities are also very popular thanks to the wide array of facilities and dedicated spaces. These include well developed playground sites, soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, picnic facilities, walking trails and tennis courts. With the combination of Lake Ontario and the beautiful rolling Northumberland Hills, one can just imagine the possibilities. Boating, biking, hiking and bird watching are just a sample of our recreational activities. Browse for fresh produce at our many roadside markets, or roll up your sleeves and pick your own apples, corn and strawberries. Shop for fantastic antiques and crafts at country prices or bid for that one of a kind item at a country auction.

Throughout the year our festivals celebrate the change of seasons and invite visitors to witness our history and culture.
