Bird WatchingThe area parks range from municipal, provincial and provincial parks.

They offer a variety of activities ranging from children's activities, picnicking, lawn bowling, camping, and bird watching.

A list of the areas main parks is listed below.

 

Area Parks

Cedar Park:
Located on Cedar Street in Brighton.

Gosport Lions Park:
Located on Baldwin Street in Brighton.

Memorial Park:
Located on Main Street in Brighton.
The site of a war memorial and home to the Brighton Lawn Bowling Club.

Presqu'ile Provincial Park:
The park has extensive beaches, nature trails, camping, picnic shelters, and ski trails.
Activities include evening programs in the amphitheatre; children's programs; waterfowl viewing weekends in March and April; guided walks and hikes, bird-banding, bird watching
and butterfly tagging.
Two interpretive centres.
Duck hunting is permitted in season between September and December.

Proctor Park:
90 Young Street, Brighton.
The park features 2.5 km of trails, picnic tables & shelter, Proctor House Museum, and the Proctor-Simpson Barn.
